As of current time, no cyclone formed in way of Bengal. Only Atmospheric inferior zone created, its moves towards andhra Pradesh. So No rain fall in overall tamilnadu for next 10 days.

Don't believe any rumours, and no one cyclone will not comes to chennai. So don't fear for any rumours.

Monsoon flows continues in the same location at way of Bengal. Today night its moves towards the tamilnadu border, so tonight air flow speed max 60km/hr in the tamilnadu and pondy neighbor sea areas. Monsoon rains spread over south India, maximum rainfall may occur at Bangalore, kochi, Kozhikode, thirussur,  chennai, kovai, theni, kanyakumari. Light monsoon rain occur in the interior tamilnadu. Coimbatore – Cool and pleasant with highs of 29C and mins of 23C with on and off passing showers. Madurai – sunny and partly cloudy with highs of 36C and mins of 26C. Light rain possible. Trichy – Sunny and breezy with highs of 36C and mins of 27C with a chance light rains. Vellore – Partly cloudy and warm with highs of 35C and mins of 27C. Sharp showers possible by evening.

Hi friends, It’s that time of the year when the westerlies attain the maximum throttle at 850hpa levels and spike up the rainfall activity over ghats and foothills of Western Ghats. True to this, monsoon has turned vigorous over ghats of Kerala and Karnataka, even as the rain inducing monsoon off-shore trough persists. Heavy rains will continue to lash these areas for next several days (10 days), as monsoon winds continue to gain momentum. This could lead to localised flooding, landslides and swells in major rivers. People are advised to follow the warnings of local administration. Active monsoon conditions will continue over parts of Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Konkan. In Tamilnadu, relatively less warm and breezy weather is expected to prevail in most of the state due to active monsoon conditions in Kerala.
